Introduction: The hemolysis-elevated liver enzymes-low platelet counts (HELLP) syndrome and posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) are rare conditions that can complicate pregnancy and the early postpartum period. Although both are closely related to hypertensive pregnancy disorders, their association is rarely described, so the outcome of these patients remains unknown. We present a case report of PRES associated with HELLP syndrome and a review of all previously published cases, including demographic characteristics, clinical presentation, treatment, and outcome.

Spontaneous hepatic rupture is a rare complication that occurs in pregnant mothers with HELLP syndrome, or preeclampsia with severe features, or eclampsia. The most common symptom of hepatic rupture/hematoma is right upper quadrant pain or epigastric pain, which is similar to the presentation of preeclampsia with severe features. Therefore, the absence of specific signs and symptoms leads to a diagnostic dilemma and a delay in management.

Introduction: Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM), with its deep-rooted history and increasing global recognition, encounters significant challenges in automation for microscopic identification. These challenges stem from limitations in traditional microscopic methods, scarcity of publicly accessible datasets, imbalanced class distributions, and issues with small, unevenly distributed, incomplete, or blurred features in microscopic images.
Methods: To address these challenges, this study proposes a novel deep learning-based approach for Chinese Herbal Medicine Microscopic Identification (CHMMI).

Introduction: This work aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of hydroxypropyl guar-hyaluronic acid (HPG-HA) dual-polymer lubricating drops in Indian subjects with dry eye disease (DED).
Methods: This prospective, open-label, single-arm, phase IV study was conducted in India.
Inclusion Criteria: Adults (18-65 years) with an average total ocular surface staining (TOSS) score ≥ 4, best-corrected visual acuity of ≥ 20/40 in each eye, tear break-up time (TBUT) ≤ 10 s, and dry eye questionnaire (DEQ-5) score ≥ 6.

Introduction: Preeclampsia and eclampsia are hypertensive disorders of pregnancy associated with significant maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a neurological complication observed in these conditions, yet its impact on fetomaternal outcomes remains underexplored. The aim of this study is to investigate the association between PRES and fetomaternal outcomes in women with preeclampsia and eclampsia.
