The effect of recombinant G-CSF (50 mg/day for 3 days) on reparative osteogenesis in rats was studied on the model of induced osteogenesis after resection of a tibial fragment resection. Reparative processes in the bone tissue were estimated by histological picture and activity of serum alkaline phosphatase. The conclusion is made that G-CSF inhibits reparative osteogenesis.
