The high prevalence of obesity is associated with diverse health problems, including endocrine disorders. Laparoscopic adrenalectomy has become the preferred approach for removal of the adrenal gland, but several authors still debate the role of laparoscopic adrenalectomy in pheochromocytoma. We describe a case of a morbidly obese man (weight, 142 kg; body mass index, 40.2 kg/m(2)) who underwent elective laparoscopic adrenalectomy for a large right pheochromocytoma without incidences.

Ebstein's anomaly is a rare congenital displacement of the tricuspid valve resulting in atrialization of the right ventricle. About half of the patients with Ebstein's anomaly also have atrial septal defects, which may lead to chronic shunting and development of Eisenmenger syndrome. We describe a case of a sexagenarian male patient with a history of Ebstein's anomaly complicated with Eisenmenger syndrome undergoing robotic laparoscopic adrenalectomy who presented hemodynamic instability, hypoxemia, and likely right-to-left shunting intraoperatively, as well as the actions taken to correct it and have a successful outcome.

Background: Cushing syndrome increases morbidity and mortality, which is mainly caused by cardiovascular disorders. This study reports the cardiovascular risk outcomes at 3, 6, and 12 months after unilateral laparoscopic adrenalectomy in cortisol-secreting adrenal tumor and to identify the preoperative parameters predicting the resolution of cardiovascular risk factors after surgery.
Methods: All clinical data of patients with unilateral cortisol-secreting adrenal tumors who underwent laparoscopic adrenalectomy in King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital between 2001-2022 were retrospectively reviewed.
