Background: Due to the toxicity and serious side effects of chemical incorporated in topical dosage form used for treatment of wound healing, there is a need to use natural preparation as wound healing preparation.

Aims: Seeds of (TFG) are used to synthesize eco-friendly silver nanoparticles (SNPs) in an appropriate way to heal wounds.

Methods: To synthesize SNPs, TFG was incubated with AgNO to produce SNP-TFG.

Tunable Generation of Spatial Entanglement in Nonlinear Waveguide Arrays.

Phys Rev Lett

December 2024

Université Paris Cité, CNRS, Laboratoire Matériaux et Phénomènes Quantiques, 75013 Paris, France.

Harnessing high-dimensional entangled states of light presents a frontier for advancing quantum information technologies, from fundamental tests of quantum mechanics to enhanced computation and communication protocols. In this context, the spatial degree of freedom stands out as particularly suited for on-chip integration. But while traditional demonstrations produce and manipulate path-entangled states sequentially with discrete optical elements, continuously coupled nonlinear waveguide systems offer a promising alternative where photons can be generated and interfere along the entire propagation length, unveiling novel capabilities within a reduced footprint.

A novel mitochondrial-targeted fluorescent probe for ratiometric imaging of nitric oxide in cells and zebrafish.

Spectrochim Acta A Mol Biomol Spectrosc

December 2024

Department of Chemistry, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Hangzhou 310018, China. Electronic address:

Nitric oxide (NO) is a key signaling molecule that regulates energy metabolism, apoptosis, and antioxidant balance within mitochondria. It is closely associated with the development of cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer. Therefore, developing fluorescent probes capable of accurately detecting NO levels in mitochondria is essential for understanding disease mechanisms and clinical diagnostics.

To tackle disorder in crystals and short- and intermediate-range order in amorphous materials, such as glass, we developed a carry-in diffractometer to utilise X-ray fluorescence holography (XFH) and anomalous X-ray scattering (AXS), facilitating element-specific analyses with atomic resolution using the wavelength tunability of a synchrotron X-ray source. Our diffractometer unifies XFH and AXS configurations to determine the crystal orientation via diffractometry. In particular, XFH was realised even for a crystal with blurred emission lines by a standing wave in a hologram, and high-throughput AXS with sufficient count statistics and energy resolution was achieved using three multi-array detectors with crystal analysers.

This paper introduces a novel slit-less wavelength-dispersive spectrometer design that incorporates a single-bounce monocapillary with the goal of positioning the sample directly on the Rowland circle, thereby eliminating the need for a traditional entrance slit. This configuration enhances photon throughput while preserving energy resolution, demonstrated in comparative measurements on boron nitride and different lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide cathodes. A common alternative to an entrance slit for limiting the source size on the Rowland circle is a customized design of the beamline involving a focusing optics unit consisting of two Kirkpatrick-Baez mirrors close to the end station.
