Background: Herbal medicines and their preparations play a significant role in healthcare systems, yet concerns remain about their quality consistency. Chemical fingerprinting and multi-component quantitative analysis are the commonly used analytical methods and are widely applied in the quality analysis of herbal medicines. The study uses Gegen Qinlian tablets (GQTs) as a case to propose a comprehensive quality consistency evaluation system.

The AuxInYeast system is a synthetic biology tool that facilitates complex biochemical analysis of the plant auxin hormone signaling pathway. As a plant synthetic biology chassis, yeast offers rapid growth, well-established genetic and biochemical tools, and core eukaryotic cellular machinery compatible with heterologous plant gene expression. The AuxInYeast system for maize consists of yeast cells containing the minimal necessary set of plant auxin signaling parts: a receptor (ZmTIR1/AFB), repressor (ZmIAA), corepressor (REL2), transcription factor (ZmARF), and auxin response -element (auxRE).

Electrochemical methodologies offer a transformative approach to sustainable chemical synthesis by enabling precise, energy-efficient transformations. Here, we report the selective electrochemical N-formylation of methylamine using methanol as both reagent and solvent, facilitated by a simple glassy carbon electrode. Under optimized conditions, we achieve a faradaic efficiency (FE) of 34% for methylformamide synthesis in a neutral NaClO electrolyte.

Three multicomponent systems, namely, 2,4-diamino-6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazine-nicotinic acid (DAPT-NA), CHN·CHNO, (I), 2,4-diamino-6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazin-1-ium hydrogen malonate (DAPT-MMA), CHN·CHO, (II), and 2,4-diamino-6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazin-1-ium hydrogen (+)-dibenzoyl-D-tartarate (DAPT-DBTA), CHN·CHO, (III), have been synthesized and characterized via single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and their supramolecular interactions have been analysed. The formation of cocrystal (I) and salts (II) and (III) was confirmed through the widening of the C-N-C bond angle of the triazine moiety of 2,4-diamino-6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazine and the difference in the C-O bond distances between the carboxyl and carboxylate groups of the respective carboxylic acids. Cocrystal (I) and salt (II) form robust homomeric and heteromeric R(8) ring motifs through primary acid-base interactions and complementary base pairing.

While TAP is proven as an evidence-based practice (EBP), it has yet to be implemented at scale. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has prioritized the Age-Friendly Health System (AFHS) initiative, providing an opportunity to test implementation of TAP in a complex healthcare system.
