A synopsis of the family Coccinellidae of Colombia is presented, including an annotated list of the species recorded in the country based on published data, a revision of national and foreign collections, and information obtained from citizen science. The list includes 404 species grouped in 81 genera, 21 tribes and two subfamilies. There are 395 native species recorded (among them 201 considered endemic), and nine introduced.

However, this requires sufficient appraisal for clinicians and researchers to adequately understand nomenclature and key concepts commonly used in this field. This article aims to elucidate the diverse applications of facial processing tasks, such as facial landmark extraction, face detection, face tracking, facial expression recognition and action unit detection, and their relevance to ophthalmology and other medical specialties.

Anti-synthetase syndrome constitutes a dynamically evolving subset of Idiopathic Inflammatory Myopathy, however, the nomenclature and abbreviations for this syndrome are plagued by heterogeneity, leading to lack of consistency in literature. The objective of this study is to evaluate existing diversity in disease names and abbreviations, with a future goal to develop consensus on the nomenclature. A scoping review format was used for analysis.
