The formation of histamine in food is influenced by temperature, and histamine growth can be inhibited by maintaining a cold chain. However, simply relying on temperature control is insufficient, as certain bacteria can produce the enzyme histidine decarboxylase even at temperatures below 5°C. To address this issue, various methods, such as modified atmosphere packaging, high hydrostatic pressure, and irradiation, have been developed to control histamine in fishery products.

Background: Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) has improved our ability to characterize rare cell populations. In practice, cells from different tissues or donors are simultaneously loaded onto the instrument (multiplexed) at the recommended (standard loading) or higher (superloading) numbers to save time and money. Although cost-effective, superloading can stymie computational analyses owing to high multiplet rates and sample complexity.

Purpose Of The Review: Calcineurin inhibitors (CNIs) are central to immunosuppression in kidney transplantation (KT), improving short-term outcomes but falling short in enhancing long-term outcomes due to cardiovascular, metabolic, and renal complications. Belatacept, an FDA-approved costimulation blocker, offers a less toxic alternative to CNIs but is limited by its intravenous administration and reduced efficacy in high-immunological-risk patients.
Recent Findings: Emerging therapies target more specific pathways to improve efficacy and accessibility.

Paleoradiology has become a standard diagnostic method in the study of mummified or embalmed bodies. Among the various available techniques, computed tomography valuing for its ability to provide detailed information. However, computed tomography equipment is not always accessible to research teams, cannot be easily transported to all conservation sites, and raises health concerns.
