Introduction: Creating a successful remediation plan for physician assistant/associate students comes with its challenges, particularly because of the limited time available for both faculty and students. In an accelerated 24-month program, the pace of the curriculum leaves little time to fall behind in mastering knowledge and skills. One possible solution is appointing an adjunct faculty member to serve as a dedicated Remediation Specialist (RS) to focus solely on student remediation.

The goal of this study is to determine factors associated with acceptance into Canadian plastic surgery (PS) residency programs by Saudi Arabian Medical Graduates. This is a cross-sectional study targeting eligible Saudi Arabian applicants to any Canadian PS residency program between 2017 and 2022. Collected data included demographics, education/licensure, electives in Canada, and letter of reference.

There are four paths to a Swedish medical license. A shared agreement exists for those converting from a European license to recognize qualifications granted in the respective countries mutually. Swedish medical graduates and International Medical Graduates (IMGs) trained outside the EU/EES/Schweiz are assessed against the professional qualifications specified in the Higher Education Ordinance (1993:100).

Introduction: Board certification in urology is a multistep process including a written qualifying examination (QE), followed by an oral certifying examination (CE) approximately 2 years after residency or fellowship completion. The goal of this process is to ensure that urologists are well trained, have an extensive fund of knowledge, demonstrate professionalism and competence in practice, and are safe to practice urology. Board certification in urology serves to both establish and confirm physician competence and ultimately protect the public.

Nipah virus (NiV) is a lethal zoonotic paramyxovirus that can be transmitted from person to person through the respiratory route. There are currently no licensed vaccines or therapeutics. A lipopeptide-based fusion inhibitor was developed and previously evaluated for efficacy against the NiV-Malaysia strain.
