Introduction: Knowing the magnitude and preventable risk factors of diabetes has a significant contribution in targeted prevention intervention which ultimately ensures the existence of healthier and productive individuals in a country. Diabetes has untoward impact on health, social and economic consequences. Exploring preventable risk factors are extremely important because of their potential association and interaction with diabetes.

Introduction: Food insecurity is the condition of limited access to healthy and safe food. Malnutrition resulting from food insecurity is a concern particularly in the surgical population due to the association with impaired healing. This aim of this study was to report the incidence and risk factors for food insecurity in the orthopaedic trauma population.

Introduction: High occupational stress is generally associated with poorer mental health and reduced performance in military personnel, whereas access to support resources is associated with positive outcomes. However, little research has examined the unique stressors and supports experienced by sailors on ships while underway at sea. The objectives of this study were to (1) identify sailors' underway stressors and supports and (2) examine how these differ as a function of demographic and operational factors.

Introduction: Resveratrol, a polyphenolic compound commonly found in natural plants and fruits, exhibits potential in preventing optic nerve damage in glaucoma, as indicated by several animal studies. However, there is presently a dearth of relevant evidence available for comprehensive summarization.
Methods: In this study, we conducted an extensive search across 7 electronic databases, encompassing all pertinent animal studies for a systematic review and meta-analysis.
