Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is a highly invasive brain tumor, and traditional treatments combining surgery with radiochemotherapy have limited effects, with tumor recurrence being almost inevitable. Given the lack of proliferative capacity in neurons, inducing terminal differentiation of GBM cells or glioma stem cells (GSCs) into neuron-like cells has emerged as a promising strategy. This approach aims to suppress their proliferation and self-renewal capabilities through differentiation.

Objective: To investigate the role of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in the metabolic reprogramming of gastric cancer through their regulation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and HERPUD1 protein targets, aiming to elucidate mechanisms that could lead to novel therapeutic strategies.
Method: The RNA-seq was performed on BGC and hMSC-BGC cells to perform LncRNA screening. And we employed cell culture techniques using hMSC-BM and BGC823 cells, treated with various genetic interventions including siRNA and overexpression vectors.

Tissue-specific endothelial cells (ECs) are critical for the homeostasis of pancreatic islets and most other tissues. In vitro recapitulation of islet biology and therapeutic islet transplantation both require adequate vascularization, which remains a challenge. Using human reprogrammed vascular ECs (R-VECs), human islets were functionally vascularized in vitro, demonstrating responsive, dynamic glucose-stimulated insulin secretion and Ca influx.
