Juxtaglomerular cell tumor (JGCT) is an uncommon tumor of the kidney, typically found in young adults. Patients with this tumor suffer from hypertension, hyperaldosteronism and hypokalaemia. Expression of renin and intracytoplasmatic rhomboid crystals or granules in electron microscopic picture are diagnostic features of this tumor. CD34 and CD117 immunoreactivity have recently been reported as helpful markers of JGCT.

Background: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a hematologic malignancy. It is the most common form of acute leukemia among adults. Recent treatment advances have drastically improved outcomes for these diseases, but the overall survival (OS) is still exceptionally low due to the infiltration of leukemic cells in the central nervous system (CNS).

Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are rare mesenchymal tumors that arise from interstitial cells of Cajal. Due to vague presentation, location and confusing imaging studies, they tend to mimic gynaecological tumors. They usually diagnosed intra-operative and histopathology followed by tumor specific receptors such as KIT, CD34, CD 117 and DOG 1 are mainstay of diagnosis of GIST.

The current case report presents the postmortem examination findings of a 17-week-old female fetus displaying thanatophoric dysplasia type 1 (TD-1) due to a known fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 (FGFR3) gene mutation. Gross and X-ray examination revealed significant abnormalities, including skeletal malformations with prominent TD-1 femur curvature. Microscopical evaluation indicated inadequate histological growth for the gestational age, with specific organ immaturity noted in multiple hematoxylin and eosin sections from internal organs, bone from epiphyses and diaphyses levels.

Choroidal involution is a common feature of age-related ischemic retinopathies such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD). It is now well recognized that endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) are essential to endothelial repair processes and in maintaining vascular integrity. However, the contribution of EPCs and the role of senescence in age-related choroidal vascular degeneration remain to be investigated.

Reprogramming of T cells was carried out using a MEK inhibitor and a PD-1 blocker; the targeting of rT cells to tumor cells was achieved by preincubation with LLC cell lysate. It was shown that the antitumor effect of rT cells was based on apoptosis of tumor cells.
