This study examines research on in journals indexed in Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus. As plays a vital role in guiding Islamic legal theory and contemporary applications of Islamic law in various sectors of life, familiarity with the scholarly landscape of the field is essential for assessing its growing influence in both academic and practical contexts. Hence, this study aims to explore the trajectory of research in studies, identify its key focus areas, and conduct a document co-citation analysis to uncover patterns in scholarly collaboration and influence.

Article Synopsis
  • - Device entrapment during Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) is a rare but serious issue, particularly with calcified aorta, as shown in a case involving an 86-year-old female patient where a pigtail catheter got stuck.
  • - After failed attempts to retrieve the catheter, an innovative solution was implemented by inflating a post-dilation balloon to stabilize the valve while safely extracting the trapped catheter without damage or the need for surgery.
  • - The case highlights the need for preventative measures, such as ensuring catheters can move freely and retracting them before fully deploying the valve, to avoid complications in future procedures.

Article Synopsis
  • Stent dislodgement is a rare but difficult complication during heart procedures, and existing treatment methods are not very effective.
  • This study tested a new self-expanding basket (SEB) catheter designed to retrieve dislodged stents without causing additional injury or needing surgery.
  • In a small trial with 6 patients, the SEB catheter successfully retrieved all dislodged stents, with no safety issues reported, indicating it may be a promising solution, but more extensive research is needed.

Application of Traffic Cone Target Detection Algorithm Based on Improved YOLOv5.

Sensors (Basel)

November 2024

Yangxian Guangda New Energy Machinery Co., Ltd., Hanzhong 723300, China.

Article Synopsis
  • A lightweight YOLOv5-Lite-s neural network was implemented on embedded devices to automate the recognition and positioning of traffic cones during highway maintenance operations.
  • The system utilized a shuffle Net backbone for efficient feature extraction and modified convolutional layers to enhance speed while preserving model accuracy.
  • Experimental results indicated that the system could recognize cones with about 89% accuracy at 9 frames per second, successfully supporting cone operations at a rate of 30 cones per minute while maintaining stability in various environmental conditions.

Background: In cerebral large vessel occlusion, even when an aneurysm is close to the target vessel, if the aneurysm is relatively small and angiography shows no thrombus within the aneurysm, it is difficult to identify the aneurysm as the embolic source.

Observations: A 67-year-old man with a history of two left-sided cerebral infarctions developed a small left-sided cerebral infarction. On hospital day 3, he developed a left M2 occlusion and underwent thrombectomy with retraction of a stent retriever into an aspiration catheter at the proximal end of the thrombus.
