Introduction: Mild sleep-disordered breathing (mSDB) in children is associated with both neurobehavioral morbidity and reduced quality of life (QOL). However, the association between symptom burden and QOL with executive function is not well understood, and it is not known whether QOL and symptom burden may help identify children with neurocognitive dysfunction.

Introduction: Lymphocytic hypophysitis (LH) is a rare inflammatory disorder of the pituitary or/and hypothalamus with variable disease course: from spontaneous remission to pituitary atrophy. The diagnosis, treatment and follow-up remain challenging. The aim of the study is to present long-term data and an individualized therapeutic approach and propose an algorithm for the follow-up of patients with probable LH.

Vigilance refers to being alertly watchful or paying sustained attention to avoid potential threats. Animals in vigilance states reduce locomotion and have an enhanced sensitivity to aversive stimuli so as to react quickly to dangers. Here we report that an unconventional 5-HT driven mechanism operating at neural circuit level which shapes the internal state underlying vigilance behavior in zebrafish and male mice.
