Human adipose depots are functionally distinct. Yet, recent single-nucleus RNA sequencing (snRNA-seq) analyses largely uncovered overlapping or similar cell-type landscapes. We hypothesized that adipocyte subtypes, differentiation trajectories and/or intercellular communication patterns could illuminate this depot similarity-difference gap.

Background: The relationship between the extent and severity of stress-induced ischemia and the extent and severity of anatomic coronary artery disease (CAD) in patients with obstructive CAD is multifactorial and includes the intensity of stress achieved, type of testing used, presence and extent of prior infarction, collateral blood flow, plaque characteristics, microvascular disease, coronary vasomotor tone, and genetic factors. Among chronic coronary disease participants with site-determined moderate or severe ischemia, we investigated associations between ischemia severity on stress testing and the extent of CAD on coronary computed tomography angiography.
Methods: Clinically indicated stress testing included nuclear imaging, echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, or nonimaging exercise tolerance test.

Nitric oxide (NO)-stimulated cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) is a key regulator of cardiovascular health, as NO-cGMP signalling is impaired in diseases like pulmonary hypertension, heart failure and chronic kidney disease. The development of NO-independent sGC stimulators and activators provide a novel therapeutic option to restore altered NO signalling. sGC stimulators have been already approved for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH), and chronic heart failure (HFrEF), while sGC activators are currently in phase-2 clinical trials for CKD.

Therefore, precise 3D lidar imaging and point cloud generation have become important subjects. Although existing coherent lidar technologies provide precise imaging results, the spectral linewidth of the laser sources becomes a key limitation over long distances as it defines the maximum detection range.
