Two patients with congenital atresia of the left coronary artery ostium underwent myocardial revascularization at the age of three years and three months, respectively. The patients were admitted to the hospital with a clinical history of sudden chest pain or short apnea not necessitating resuscitation. Non-invasive examinations and hemodynamic studies revealed dysfunction of the left ventricle and ostial atresia of the left coronary artery. Surgical revascularization-bypass grafts were performed using the left internal mammary artery and saphenous vein graft in the first case and the left internal mammary artery in the second child. Both patients survived surgery and good patency of the grafts was confirmed by coronary angiograms during hospital stay. These cases are interesting because of their rarity and diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties.

Cardiac-Urogenital Syndrome (CUGS) is a recently identified genetic disease characterized by urogenital, diaphragmatic, ophthalmic, and cardiac abnormalities caused by heterozygous pathogenic variants in the Myelin Regulatory Factor (MYRF) gene. The complete spectrum of disease characteristics and prevalence is not yet defined. This report documents the first known cases of anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery (ALCAPA) in MYRF-associated Cardiac-Urogenital Syndrome (MYRF-CUGS).

We report a female patient in her 70s with mild cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer's disease (AD) who developed a left temporal lobar haemorrhage after the third dose of lecanemab, accompanied by non-traumatic haemorrhage in a pre-existing subdural hygroma, and was diagnosed with amyloid-related imaging abnormalities with haemorrhage. The patient exhibited mild verbal paraphasia and word recall difficulty but had no other major neurological deficits. There was no additional intracranial abnormality during the course of hospitalisation.

This study aimed to use LV-PSL for early identification of changes in LV structure and MW in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Methods: Seventy-two patients with ESRD were divided into two groups based on undergoing maintenance hemodialysis (MHD), namely the dialysis group (ESRD-D group) and non-dialysis group (ESRD-ND group).
