Significant data on the dynamics of globulin production in guinea pigs in the process of immunogenesis after the injection of Francisella tularensis vaccine strain or conjugated brucellosis vaccine have been obtained by means of immunofluorescence and the enzyme immunoassay. The number of globulin-producing cells in lymphoid organs (the spleen, regional and remote lymph nodes) differs, depending on the injected antigen. The relationship between the character of immunomorphological changes in lymphoid organs and the dynamics of the increase of antibody titers in the peripheral blood of the animals after their immunization with conjugated brucellosis vaccine and the injection of avirulent F. tularensis has been established.

This study was aimed to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of pembrolizumab with chemotherapy (pembrolizumab combination therapy) and compare it with standard-of-care platinum-based chemotherapy (chemotherapy alone) as a first-line treatment for metastatic nonsquamous NSCLC from the perspective of Taiwan's third-party-payer public health-care system. We used a partitioned survival model with an estimated time horizon of 10 years. Background: Biosimilar natalizumab (biosim-NTZ) is the first biosimilar monoclonal antibody of reference natalizumab (ref-NTZ) for treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS). Within the totality of evidence for demonstration of biosimilarity, immunogenicity assessments were performed in healthy subjects and patients with relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS) to confirm a matching immunogenicity profile between biosim-NTZ and ref-NTZ.

This study is the first to conduct a sero-surveillance of Bovine Tropical Theileriosis (BTT) caused by the protozoan parasite Theileria annulata (T. annulata) using a recombinant Tams1 protein-based dot-ELISA in cattle, and to compare its efficacy with plate-ELISA, single PCR, nested PCR, and blood microscopy. The goal was to identify the most effective method for the early and accurate detection of theileriosis, which significantly impacts livestock through reduced milk yield and increased mortality.

Current treatments for fundus disorders, such as intravitreal injections, pose risks, including infection and retinal detachment, and are limited in their ability to deliver macromolecular drugs across the blood‒retinal barrier. Although non-invasive methods are safer, their delivery efficiency remains suboptimal (<5%). We have developed a wearable electrodriven switch (WES) that improves the non-invasive delivery of macromolecules to the fundus.
