In extreme conditions like a new situation, bright light, open space, immobilization, height (the open field and lifted cruciform labyrinth test) and a conflict between an unavoidable action and fear of painful mexidol at the doses of 50 and 100 mg/kg of a body weight eliminates anxiety and fear in rats, recovers adequate reactions and the orientative-trying behavior, and lessens aggressiveness. Mexidol extends life span of mice in acute hypoxic conditions. Mexidol is highly competitive with diazepam as an anti-stress agent and excels it as an anti-hypoxic agent; in contrast to diazepam, mexidol does not cause sedation and myorelaxation. Based on these findings, mexidol can be prescribed to humans to maintain efficiency in all kinds of extreme situations.

In this paper, a sub-1dB Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) with several gain modes, including amplification and attenuation modes required for the fifth and fourth generations (5G/4G) of mobile network applications, is proposed. Its current consumption is adaptive for every gain mode and varies to lower currents for lower amplifications due to the importance of current consumption for mobile network applications. The proposed LNA features an innovative architecture with a three-core input structure supporting multi-gain modes, achieving high gain and ultra-low noise performance.

Global warming and extreme climate conditions caused by unsuitable temperature and humidity lead to coffee leaf rust () diseases in coffee plantations. Coffee leaf rust is a severe problem that reduces productivity. Currently, pesticide spraying is considered the most effective solution for mitigating coffee leaf rust.

The chemical mechanical polishing/planarization (CMP) is essential for achieving the desired surface quality and planarity required for subsequent layers and processing steps. However, the aggregation of slurry particles caused by abrasive materials can lead to scratches, defects, increased surface roughness, degradation the quality and durability of the finished surface after milling processes during the CMP process. In this study, ceria slurry was prepared using polymer dispersant with zinc salt of ethylene acrylic acid (EAA) copolymer at different contents of 5, 6, and 7 wt% (denoted as D5, D6, and D7) to minimize particle aggregation commonly observed in CMP slurries.

Carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites are widely used in aviation thermal insulation layers due to their high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent high-temperature performance. However, challenges remain regarding their structural integrity and durability under extreme conditions. This study first employed finite element simulation to model the damage evolution of CFRP laminated plates under axial tensile loads and their thermal decomposition behavior in high-temperature environments, providing a theoretical reference.

Plant plasma membrane (PM) H-ATPase functions as a proton-motive force by exporting cellular protons to establish a transmembrane chemical gradient of H ions and an accompanying electrical gradient. These gradients are crucial for plant growth and development and for plant responses to abiotic and biotic stresses. In this study, a comprehensive identification of the PM H-ATPase gene family was conducted across four cotton species.
