We report herein the first synthesis of linear and branched mannose oligosaccharides using fluorous-tag assistance with reagents and FSPE protocols that are amenable to automation. The particular fluorous linker proved to maintain solubility of the growing oligosaccharide chain such that identical reaction solvent conditions and purification protocols could be used between glycosylation and deprotection reactions, thereby rendering the procedures amenable to automation.

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the impact of serum C-peptide levels in patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes (T2DM) on the 10-year risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD).
Patients And Methods: A total of 1923 patients with newly diagnosed T2DM were selected and categorized into four groups based on the interquartile range of fasting C-peptide (FCP) levels: Q1 group (FCP≤0.568 ng/mL), Q2 group (0.

Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is characterized by pulmonary and systemic inflammation. The peripheral blood (neutrophil + monocyte)/lymphocyte ratio (NMLR) can predict the clinical outcomes of several inflammatory diseases. However, its prognostic value in COPD remains unknown.

Objective: This study sought to examine the potential relationship between Hemoglobin/Red Cell Distribution Width Ratio (HRR) and the all-cause mortality risk in critically ill patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Patients And Methods: In a retrospective analysis of the MIMIC-IV database, patients were divided into two groups based on a specific HRR threshold. Propensity score matching (PSM) was employed to address covariate imbalances.

Aims: The association of telomere length (TL) and coronary heart disease (CHD) is still debated, and there is a lack of dose-response meta-analyses on this issue. The aim is therefore to integrate existing evidence on the association between TL and CHD risk and explore the dose-response relationship between them.
Data Synthesis: PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science were searched for relevant studies up to September 2024.

Background: Carbosulfan residues in environment is very harmful to human health. The rapid and high sensitive detection of carbosulfan residues is particularly important to guarantee human health and safety. The conventional chromatographic techniques and enzyme inhibition strategies cannot realize on-site and visual detection of carbosulfan.
