Published: August 2008

The ability of sulfonamido nitrogen to enter into neighboring group participation was established in two different reaction settings. The first was uncovered during the bromination of benzodiazocine 8 in dichloromethane at 0 degrees C, and the second during the base treatment of 15a en route to allene 18.

Altered chromatin landscape and 3D interactions associated with primary constitutional MLH1 epimutations.

Hereditary Cancer Group, ONCOBELL Program, Institut d'Investigació Biomèdica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL), L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Spain.

Background: Lynch syndrome (LS), characterised by an increased risk for cancer, is mainly caused by germline pathogenic variants affecting a mismatch repair gene (MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, PMS2). Occasionally, LS may be caused by constitutional MLH1 epimutation (CME) characterised by soma-wide methylation of one allele of the MLH1 promoter. Most of these are "primary" epimutations, arising de novo without any apparent underlying cis-genetic cause, and are reversible between generations.

Objective: The aim of this study was to analyze changes in height of 7-18-year-old school-age children in China during the year of 2000-2019.

Methods: We used the survey data from the Chinese National Survey on Students' Constitution and Health in Henan Province for the years 2000, 2005, 2010, 2014, and 2019. Data were categorized into subgroups based on geographic location, gender, and age; mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's correlation coefficient were used to analyze trends in height change among children and adolescents and the correlation between socioeconomic indicators and height change.

Purpose: In patients with prostate cancer (PCa), focal therapy with High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) combined with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) surgery has been used to improve immediate post-operative voiding symptoms. Our study aimed to evaluate the functional outcomes of patients undergoing simultaneous holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) + HIFU and compare them to those who underwent HoLEP for bladder outlet obstruction secondary to BPH.

Methods: We performed retrospective review of patients who underwent HoLEP + HIFU or HoLEP between June 2017 and May 2024.

This paper presents a distributed control strategy, named Triangle Formation (TF) algorithm, for a group of robots. The algorithm is based on a geometric approach and enables three neighboring robots to form an Equilateral Triangular Configuration (ETC). The TF algorithm is scalable since it is developed for a large group of robots by using a neighbor selection technique.

The network layer plays a crucial role in blockchain systems, enabling essential functions such as message broadcasting and data synchronization. Enhancing data transmission structures and methods at this layer is key to improving scalability and addressing performance limitations. Currently, the uneven distribution of neighboring node lists and the lack of awareness of underlying linkages in coverage networks hinder the efficiency and comprehensiveness of information transmission.
