The article presents main stages of becoming and improvement of specialized neurological aid in the 3rd CMCH of Vishnevsky A.A. since its opening (1968) to now-day. Also in the article could be found data about the first-time created neurological center in the system of military health protection, about the center as a multifield clinical institute, its functional subdivisions: 2 psycho-neurological, 3 neurological and reanimation-intensive therapy discharges. Author shows foreground directions of improvement of different types of specialized neurological aid and of scientifically-practical work of the center.
