Purpose Of Review: This review examines current evidence on pharmacologically induced plaque stabilization in the context of a growing range of new therapies. It explores the potential for a paradigm shift in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) prevention, where treatments may not need to be lifelong to achieve lasting benefits.
Recent Findings: Since 2015, over 14 novel therapies have been introduced, each shown to reduce ASCVD risk when added to standard care with statins and aspirin.

As the burden of chronic disease and multiple long-term conditions is increasing globally, disproportionally affecting those in low-resourced settings, there is an increasing call to action to scale effective models of care that can assist in mitigating the impact of chronic disease on functioning, activity, societal participation, and health-related quality of life. The aim of this paper is to unpack the contextual factors that have been implicitly and explicitly voiced by researchers reporting on rehabilitation interventions used to manage chronic disease in low-resourced settings. We systematically engaged the literature and applied a reflexive qualitative and systems thinking lens to unpack the contextual factors and their interplay.

Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate commonly assumed causal relationships between body mass index (BMI), gestational weight gain (GWG), and adverse pregnancy outcomes, which have formed the basis of guidelines and interventions aimed at limiting GWG in women with overweight or obesity. We explored relationships between maternal BMI, total GWG (as a continuous variable and as 'excessive' GWG), and pregnancy outcomes (including infant birthweight measures and caesarean birth).
Methods: Analysis of individual participant data (IPD) from the i-WIP (International Weight Management in Pregnancy) Collaboration, from randomised trials of diet and/or physical activity interventions during pregnancy reporting GWG and maternal and neonatal outcomes.

The Rethinking Incarceration and Empowering Recovery (RIvER) Clinic was launched in June 2021 to address the health disparities experienced during and after incarceration. The RIvER Clinic's multidisciplinary, community-centered team engages patients during jail detention and after release via telehealth, collocated in community locations, on a mobile van, and in clinic. The clinic serves as a bridge between incarceration and the establishment of permanent health care and social services in the community.
