Decisions form a central bottleneck to most tasks, one that people often experience as costly. Previous work proposes mitigating those costs by lowering one's threshold for deciding. Here we test an alternative solution, one that targets the basis of most choice costs: the idea that choosing one option sacrifices others (mutual exclusivity).

The purpose of this study is to analyze the core elements of bus crash injury severity and its interaction mechanism, in order to provide a scientific basis for improving the bus operation safety. In this study, 283 crashes occurred in a Chongqing bus company from January to June 2022 were taken as samples around the dimensions of drivers' educational background, driving characteristics, weather, and corporate management strategies.

The model advanced training regulations define the content of advanced training to achieve the qualification of medical specialist in internal medicine and rheumatology. There are currently no criteria for issuing the authorization in advanced training. This position paper describes the criteria proposed by the German Society for Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology (DGRh), which should be the foundation for the issuance of authorization for advanced training in the field of internal medicine and rheumatology and for the assessment of the duration.

Purpose: High levels of physical and psychological stresses experienced by those in the care profession can have a negative impact on their health. The pilot project "Health Check for Carers in the region of Karlsruhe" offered nurses aged 45 and above - based on their self-assessed ability to work using the Work Ability Index (WAI) - the opportunity to participate in a job-related health check, based on their work ability index result. This study looks at the occupational and health situation of older carers, the (subjective) need for a Ü45 health check and draws a comparison between particpants and non-participants.

Background: Medication-overuse headache (MOH) has been related to the spectrum of dependence behavior and impaired orbitofrontal cortex function. Alexithymia is a trait comprising deficits in identifying self-emotions and perception. It was the aim of the study to investigate impulsivity and alexithymia, in patients with MOH and perform correlations with cerebral grey matter.
