Aim: This study aims to explore the rationality, feasibility, safety, and effectiveness of single-incision laparoscopic gastric pull-up (SILS-GPU) and robot-assisted gastric pull-up (R-GPU) methods.
Methods: Hospital records of patients who underwent gastric pull-up with either SILS-GPU or R-GPU between May2016 and January 2024 were reviewed. Demographics, diagnosis, surgical techniques, and postoperative outcomes were evaluated.

One risk factor for anastomotic leakage (AL) after esophagectomy with retrosternal gastric reconstruction is excessive compression of the gastric tube at the thoracic inlet. In this study, we evaluated the effect of our modified procedure to reduce AL by placing the esophagogastric anastomosis below the thoracic inlet. Between January 2008 and December 2022, 174 consecutive patients underwent subtotal esophagectomy with retrosternal gastric pull up, followed by circular stapler anastomosis in our hospitals.

We present a case of a patient having cone-beam CT (CBCT)-based online adaptive radiotherapy (oART) on Ethos Therapy after oesophagectomy and gastric pull-up. This case report aims to demonstrate that daily oART is a viable treatment option for post-oesophagectomy patients. The patient's radiotherapy plan was generated on the Ethos system using an eight-field intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) plan imported from the Eclipse planning system.

Background: Ingested dental prosthesis are susceptible to impaction in the gastrointestinal tract due to their sharp edges, size and contour. Delays in presentation arise from the lack of clear history of ingestion and misdiagnosis occurs due to the radiolucency of denture material on plain radiography. An acquired, non-malignant tracheo-oesophageal fistula (TOF) may develop from a chronically impacted denture.

Diffuse esophageal leiomyomatosis (DEL) is a rare condition characterized by the growth of multiple benign smooth muscle tumors (leiomyomas) in the esophagus. These tumors can cause obstruction and functional impairment of the esophagus, leading to symptoms such as difficulty swallowing, chest pain, and weight loss. The disease can present with leiomyomas or glomerular nephropathy in other body parts, hearing defects, astigmatism, or myopia (Alport's syndrome).
