Caring for patients in intensive care units (ICUs) requires healthcare workers to recognize the importance of a spiritual care approach in these settings. Moving toward a holistic and patient-centered care model that incorporates spiritual care is essential for enhancing patients' healing process. The disease-centered approach of ICU and the perceived deficit of spiritual care highlight the need to add knowledge on integrating spiritual care interventions into daily ICU practices.

Promoting the involvement of women in surgery, particularly in neurosurgery, is crucial in today's male-dominated landscape. Without proper recognition and encouragement, many talented and pioneering women may continue to be undervalued, despite their significant impact on the field. Gender inequality has been a persistent issue throughout history, with limited progress despite the increasing presence of women in the workforce.

Background: There is a dominant discourse, both in clinical texts and throughout the academic literature, that autistic people lack empathy; however, over the past decade, both clinicians and academics have increasingly rejected deficit-based descriptions of autism in favor of more nuanced explanations of the experience of autistic individuals in a social world.
Methods: This study asked 76 autistic individuals about their own experience of empathy and the oft-cited empathy deficit. Data were thematically analyzed and revealed a wide array of empathic self-concepts among respondents.
