Objectives: To introduce the method to monitor intrapelvic perfusion pressure during minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy (MPCNL), and to observe the effect of high pressure intrapelvic perfusion on recovery.
Methods: The end of F5 ureteral catheter and aseptic transducer were connected by self-made connecter. During the operation, 46 renal calculi cases were monitored, and the early complication, such as fever, pain index, drop of hemoglobin, the stone-free rate and hospital stay were investigated. And the relationship between the variation of pressure and recovery was studied.
Results: Intrapelvic perfusion pressure ranged from 3 mm Hg (1 mm Hg = 0.133 kPa) to 50 mm Hg during the course of MPCNL. The definition of high pressure was the time of the pressure more than 30 mm Hg not less than 10 min. Postoperative fever rate, pain index, drop of hemoglobin and hospital stay in the high pressure were significantly higher than low pressure group (P< or =0.05). There was no difference of the stone-free rate in two groups.
Conclusions: During the course of MPCNL intrapelvic perfusion pressure should be monitor immediately. It should be careful to maintain the time of pressure more than 30 mm Hg less than 10 min for stable postoperative recovery.

Objectives: This study aimed to describe a novel double-sheath vacuum suction minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy (mini-PCNL) to overcome the deficiencies of the conventional procedure.
Patients And Methods: Between March 2019 and December 2019, 65 patients (37 males and 28 females) with a mean age of 41 years (range 23-69) underwent mini-PCNL with double-sheath vacuum suction. It consisted of an F20 Y-shaped sheath as an outer sheath and an F16 Y-shaped sheath as an inner sheath, in which the inner sheath was longer than the outer sheath.

Objective: To document longitudinal symptom, quality-of-life and imaging response in patients with recurrent gynecological tumors treated with magnetic resonance guided high intensity focused ultrasound (MRgHIFU), and compare changes in patients with intra- versus extra-pelvic lesions.
Methods: Eleven symptomatic patients with painful recurrent gynecological tumors were treated with MRgHIFU (Profound Sonalleve) in a prospective single center study (NCT02714621). Pain scores, analgesic intake and quality-of-life metrics, whole tumor volume, and perfused tumor volume from Gadolinium-enhanced T1W imaging documented before and up to 90 days after treatment were compared between patients with intra- and extra-pelvic tumors.

Resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta has increasingly been used all the world over for arresting ongoing intraabdominal and intrapelvic bleeding accompanied by unstable haemodynamics. However, the use of resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta in a zone of military operations has been limited to sporadic cases only. This article deals with 3 clinical case reports regarding rendering medical care for the wounded presenting with extremely unstable haemodynamics and/or a terminal state in a field hospital, where insertion of a balloon into the aorta made it possible to stabilize the condition, to perform the basic scope of diagnosis, and to finally control the continuing bleeding: in one case - intraabdominal (due to splenic rupture) and in 2 cases - intrapelvic (unstable fractures of pelvic bones).

Unlabelled: Over the last decade, several devices for percutaneous nephrolithotomy with smaller diameters have been introduced in order to reduce renal trauma. Recent studies have found comparable stone free rates but also exhibit the same rate of postoperative fever and septicaemia. One possible cause is the influence of irrigation fluid during stone treatment procedures.

Therefore, we sought to investigate the renoprotective effects of darbepoetin alfa on unilateral ureteral obstructions.
Methods: We used 12 female and 12 male 3-monthold Wistar rats weighing between 250 and 350 g.
