Background: Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is an immune dysregulation disorder affecting multiple organs. Cardiac involvement, prevalently myocardial, is associated with poor outcomes in SSc patients. Several investigations explored the role of cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging in the diagnosis of scleroderma-related cardiomyopathy and analyzed the clinical, radiologic, and pathologic correlations utilizing CMR examinations.

The aim of this paper was to systematically review and compare the Apnoea-Hypopnoea Index (AHI), Lowest O Saturation (LSAT), Oxygen Desaturation Index (ODI), Epworth Sleep Scale (ESS), and Body Mass Index (BMI) between dentofacial (skeletal) classes I, II, and III before and after maxillomandibular advancement (MMA) for Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA). The PubMed, Scopus, and CINAHL databases were searched from inception to 23 November 2022. Two reviewers screened for articles that reported occlusion/malocclusion class type as I, II, or III, and reported preoperative and postoperative AHI, LSAT, ODI, ESS, and/or BMI.

Background: Despite advancements in laparoscopic right hemicolectomy for right-sided colon cancer, the choice between functional end-to-end anastomosis and end-to-side anastomosis remains a topic of debate. This study aimed to compare these 2 techniques in terms of postoperative complications and disease-free survival.
Methods: This retrospective analysis included 1,202 patients who underwent laparoscopic right hemicolectomy for nonmetastatic colon cancer at Samsung Medical Center between January 2007 and February 2016.

Currently applicable models for predicting live birth outcomes in patients who received assisted reproductive technology (ART) have methodological or study design limitations that greatly obstruct their dissemination and application. Models suitable for Chinese couples have not yet been identified. We conducted a retrospective study by using a database includes a total of 11,938 couples who underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment between January 2015 and December 2022 in a medical institution of southwest China Yunnan province.
