Introduction: Chronic inflammation caused by infections has a significant negative impact on the reproductive system and impairs fertility. The corpus luteum (CL) plays a central role not only in regulating the ovary cycle, but also in implantation of the embryo and maintenance of early pregnancy through the secretion of progesterone. Understanding the intricate interplay between inflammatory processes and reproductive organ's function is crucial for the development of effective therapeutic strategies to alleviate reproductive disorders and improve fertility.

During development, amniote vertebrate embryos transform from a flat sheet into a three-dimensional cylindrical form through ventral folding of the lateral sides of the sheet (the lateral plate [LP]) and their fusion in the ventral midline. Using a chick embryo slice system, we find that the flat stage is actually a poised balance of opposing dorsal and ventral elastic bending tensions. An intact extracellular matrix (ECM) is required for generating tension, as localized digestion of ECM dissipates tension, while removal of endoderm or ectoderm layers has no significant effect.

Brain development is highly complex and dynamic. During this process, the different brain structures acquire new components, such as the cerebral cortex, which builds up different germinal and cortical layers during its development. The genetic study of this complex structure has been commonly approached by bulk-sequencing of the entire cortex as a whole.

Platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFR-α) activity is crucial in the process of dental and periodontal mesenchyme regeneration facilitated by autologous platelet concentrates (APCs), such as platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and concentrated growth factors (CGF), as well as by recombinant PDGF drugs. However, it is largely unclear about the physiological patterns and cellular fate determinations of PDGFR-α cells in the homeostasis maintaining of adult dental and periodontal mesenchyme. We previously identified NFATc1 expressing PDGFR-α cells as a subtype of skeletal stem cells (SSCs) in limb bone in mice, but their roles in dental and periodontal remain unexplored.

Objective: To use immunohistochemistry to analyse the expression of MSX1 and β-catenin proteins during parrot pseudoteeth development and goose denticulations and giant filiform papillae ontogeny.
Material And Methods: Eggs were purchased from stockbreeders. Embryos from selected stages were removed and sliced.
