Methamphetamine is a profoundly addictive drug that seriously impacts health, families, businesses, social services, and the environment. The nature of these hazards makes it prudent for every organization to update its current policies and emergency action plans. We recommend training employees to identify and react appropriately to the wide range of methamphetamine hazards as a means of improving the management of other workplace hazards and emergencies.

Introduction: digitising health worker payments could improve their well-being, that of users of health service points and the performance of the health system. The purpose of this study was to identify factors associated with the acceptability of mobile payments among health workers in the Koumpentoum health district.
Methods: we conducted a cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical study in the Koumpentoum health district, in eastern Senegal, in January 2023.

The subcellular localization of mRNAs plays a pivotal role in biological processes, including cell migration. For instance, β-actin mRNA and its associated RNA-binding protein (RBP), ZBP1/IGF2BP1, are recruited to focal adhesions (FAs) to support localized β-actin synthesis, crucial for cell migration. However, whether other mRNAs and RBPs also localize at FAs remains unclear.

In contemporary, high-speed work settings, ensuring the well-being of employees is of paramount importance. The current study builds on this concern about employee well-being and aims to explore the complex connection between workload (as a job demand), micro-breaks (as behavioral resources), and psychological capital (PsyCap; as a personal resource) to understand their impact on end-of-day well-being. A daily diary approach was employed, where employees provided data from Monday to Friday throughout a workweek.

Introduction: Wrist-worn accelerometers can capture stepping behavior passively, continuously, and remotely. Methods utilizing peak detection, threshold crossing, and frequency analysis have been used to detect steps from wrist-worn accelerometer data, but it remains unclear how different approaches perform across a range of walking speeds and free-living activities. In this study, we evaluated the performance of four open-source methods for deriving step counts from wrist-worn accelerometry data, when applied to data from a range of structured locomotion and free-living activities.

With the increasing speed of genomic, transcriptomic, and metagenomic data generation driven by the advancement and widespread adoption of next-generation sequencing technologies, the management and analysis of large-scale, diverse data in the fields of life science and biotechnology have become critical challenges. In this paper, we thoroughly discuss the use of cloud data warehouses to address these challenges. Specifically, we propose a data management and analysis framework using Snowflake, a SaaS-based data platform.
