In experiment on rats in the treatment of festering soft tissues wounds it was substantiated the inclusion into the scheme of the basic therapy 0.03% solution of sodium hypochlorite and antioxidant Recsod. Introduction of these preparations let to reduce the level of oxidation stress and endogenous intoxication, to eliminate imbalance in the antioxidant erythrocyte system and in the organism as a whole in the acute inflammation phase and to speed up wound healing processes.

To enhance the current clinical understanding and improve the diagnosis and treatment of Actinotignum schaalii infections, we have presented here a report of the case of recurrent infections at a periumbilical scar, induced by Actinotignum schaalii and complicated by abscess formation in a 50-year-old woman with persistent festering at the site of a periumbilical scar after laparoscopy 9 years ago, with subsequent ruptures over the past 2 years. Physical examination revealed a radial fold scar with localized redness and slight swelling of the skin below the navel. Although no significant increase in the local skin temperature was noted, tenderness was present.

Effect of the addition of biochar and wood vinegar on the morphology of heavy metals in composts.

Environ Sci Pollut Res Int

December 2023

College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Tarim University, Arar, 843300, Xinjiang, China.

In the experiment, the morphology of heavy metals (Pb, Cr, Cd, and Ni, HMs) was characterized using flame atomic absorption spectroscopy. In addition, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and three-dimensional excitation-emission matrix fluorescence spectroscopy (3D-EEM) were used to characterize the correlation between environmental factors and metal morphology in the rotting compost from several angles. The results showed that the humus treated with wood vinegar solution had a high degree of humification and rich aromatic structure.

The treatment of festering pathogenic bacteria-induced skin wounds with increased inflammation is an ongoing challenge. The traditional antibacterial photothermal therapy always results in localized hyperthermia (over 50 °C), which inevitably delays tissue recovery. To address this serious issue, we devise a novel photonic hydrogel by integrating urchin-like BiS nano-heterojunctions (nano-HJs) into double-network hydrogels for infected skin regeneration.

Background: Consolidative allogeneic hematopoietic stem cells (allo-HSCs) after chimeric antigen receptor T cells (CAR-T) therapy is an emerging modality in hematologic malignancies. Knowledge about the success of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) after CAR-T therapy without a conditioning regimen is limited.

Case Presentation: We report a patient with relapsed/refractory (R/R) Ph B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) who underwent anti-CD19 CAR-T immunotherapy.
