This article explores in detail the issue of the alleged decline in semen quality. The impetus for a comprehensive re-evaluation at this time is threefold: (1) the potential impact of a real decline in semen quality and subsequent human fertility is a priori critical to human welfare; (2) governments have begun to enact "anti-endocrine disruptor" legislation that is based, in part, on selected portions of the published data about semen quality; and (3) confusion and misinformation about semen quality remain widespread in lay and professional circles.

Background: Emerging research indicates that autophagy, a cellular degradation process, may be triggered by certain immune responses, including those by vaccines. This study aims to examine whether the SARS-CoV-2 vaccines, known to induce robust immune activation, can trigger autophagic pathways that facilitate the degradation of amyloid-beta (Aβ), a pathological feature of Alzheimer's disease (AD). By applying deep learning techniques to analyze complex immunological and neurological data, this study explores a potentially innovative therapeutic strategy for AD.

Objective: To investigate cost disparities of infertility diagnostic tests across the United States.
Design: Cross-sectional study analyzing costs for recommended infertility diagnostic tests, including hormone tests (follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, estradiol, and progesterone), semen analysis, transvaginal ultrasound, and hysterosalpingogram. Data were sourced from consumer cost claims repositories for five most populous cities per state, categorized into four regions (Midwest, South, West, and Northeast) as per US Census Bureau classifications.

Objective: To observe the effects of the "Zhibian" (BL54)-toward-"Shuidao" (ST28) acupuncture on key regulatory factors during mitochondrial apoptosis of testicular tissue in asthenozoospermia mice, and explore the potential mechanism of the protective effect of acupuncture on reproductive function.
Methods: Thirty C57BL/6 male mice were randomly divided into a blank group, a model group and an acupuncture group, 10 mice in each group. In the model and the acupuncture groups, the intraperitoneal injection of cyclophosphamide (30 mg•kg•d) was delivered for 7 days to prepare the asthenozoospermia model.
Introduction: Retrograde ejaculation (RE) consists of the reflux backwards, towards the bladder, of the ejaculate, during the emission phase of ejaculation, causing a total or partial absence of sperm emission, with the consequent diversion of semen into the bladder during the emission phase of ejaculation. Evaluating the ejaculate may not be sufficient for identifying RE in some patients. Hence, the management of infertility may involve the use of invasive methods such as epididymal fluid retrieval or testicular biopsy.
