The significance of three-dimensional (3D) bioprinting in the domain of regenerative medicine and tissue engineering is readily apparent. To create a multi-functional bioinspired structure, 3D bioprinting requires high-performance bioinks. Bio-inks refer to substances that encapsulate viable cells and are employed in the printing procedure to construct 3D objects progressive through successive layers.

Over the last decades, significant progress has been made in studying agonistic and antagonistic hematopoietic peptides. The main disadvantage of this class of peptides is their low stability with noninvasive administration methods, which limits the widespread use of hematopoiesis-regulated peptide drugs in medical practice. The aim of this work is to study novel peptidomimetics with hematopoietic activity sustained in invasive and oral administration.

Meeting the needs of a growing population calls for a change from linear production systems that exacerbate the depletion of finite natural resources and the emission of environmental pollutants. These linear production systems have resulted in the human-driven perturbation of the Earth's natural biogeochemical cycles and the transgression of environmentally safe operating limits. One solution that can help alleviate the environmental issues associated both with resource stress and harmful emissions is resource recovery from waste.
