Prophylactics of surgical infections is one of the principal problems in using any surgical method, the method of transosseous osteosynthesis included. Preventive treatment is considered to be one of possible ways to decrease the number of pyo-inflammatory complications. However, unjustified antibiotic therapy gives a negative effect and is often followed by side reactions and complications. This experimental investigation presents grounds for using the method of prophylactics of pyo-inflammatory complications in the area of wires in treatment by the method of extrafocal compressive-distractive osteosynthesis with a new generation probiotic "Sporobacterin liquid".

The aim of the study - to identify the causes and develop methods of treatment and prevention of septic phlegmons of the lower extremities after combined phlebectomy. The article presents the experience of treating 6 patients between the ages of 21 and 69 years with severe pyo-inflammatory complications (septic phlegmons) of the lower extremities after combined phlebectomy between 2012 and 2019. All patients had signs of a expressed systemic inflammatory response (SIRS3 and SIRS4) when they received admission.

In addition, 49 children presenting with chronic suppurative epitympanitis (CSET) and chronic suppurative epimesotympanitis (CSEMT) were included in the study. The data obtained were analysed and compared with the similar characteristics of 28 healthy children of the same age comprising the control group.

The objective of the present study was to develop the algorithm for early clinical, laboratory, and instrumental diagnostics of sepsis in the patients presenting with pyo-inflammatory ENT diseases. The study included 50 patients with pyo-inflammatory ENT diseases complicated by generalization of infection. The scheme (algorithm) developed for their examination allowed to diagnose sepsis at the early stages of hospitalization in the patients presenting with pyo-inflammatory ENT pathology.

Aim: Evaluate clinical features of the course of acute respiratory infection (ARI) and the state of microbiocenosis of nasopharynx of pregnant women at gestational term of 14 - 26 weeks.
Materials And Methods: At the stage of outpatient therapy of ARI 49 pregnant women at the gestational term of 14 - 26 weeks were examined: group 1--27 individuals consulting at day 1 and receiving Viferon (gel) intranasally for 10 days, group 2--22 individuals consulting at day 2 - 3 and receiving Viferon (gel and suppositorium). Respiratory viral infection was diagnosed by multiplex PCR.
