Visual perspective taking often involves transitioning between perspectives, yet the cognitive mechanisms underlying this process remain unclear. The current study draws on insights from task- and language-switching research to address this gap. In Experiment 1, 79 participants judged the perspective of an avatar positioned in various locations, observing either the rectangular or the square side of a rectangular cube hanging from the ceiling.

The growing demand for clean and sustainable energy sources has prompted the investigation of numerous renewable and ecologically friendly options. Among these, geothermal energy is particularly noteworthy because of its widespread availability, compact size, and consistent, weather-independent power production. A geothermal play fairway analysis (GPFA) model was created for the study area, which is located in Békés county, southeastern Hungary.

Objective: To explore the influence of education level on scores in the Mandarin Chinese version of the Rowland Universal Dementia Assessment Scale (RUDAS) among stroke patients and to provide guidance regarding the application and optimisation of the RUDAS.
Methods: A total of 235 stroke patients were census sampled for an evaluation of cognitive function using the Mandarin Chinese version of the RUDAS. A test was carried out to analyze the differences in RUDAS scores between sexes, and one-way analysis of variance and the Scheffe multiple comparison test were used to analyze the differences in RUDAS scores between age groups and between education levels.

Diabetic macular edema (DME) is a common complication of diabetes that can lead to vision loss, and anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) therapy is the standard of care for DME, but the treatment outcomes vary widely among patients. This study collected optical coherence tomography (OCT) images and clinical data from DME patients who received anti-VEGF treatment to develop and validate deep learning (DL) models for predicting the anti-VEGF outcomes in DME patients based on convolutional neural network (CNN) and multilayer perceptron (MLP) combined architecture by using multimodal data. An Xception-MLP architecture was utilized to predict best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA), central subfield thickness (CST), cube volume (CV), and cube average thickness (CAT).
