Herein, a biochar-supported zero-valent iron (ZVI) nanosheet catalyst (Fe@BC) for the activation of persulfate to degrade ciprofloxacin (CIP) was prepared using industrial kraft lignin and Fenton sludge as carbon and iron sources, respectively.
