Background: Pseudonormal T waves may be detected on stress electrocardiograms (ECGs) in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Either myocardial ischaemia or purely exercise-induced changes have been hypothesised to contribute to this phenomenon, but the precise electrophysiological mechanisms remain unknown.
Methods: Computational models of human HCM ventricles (n = 20) with apical and asymmetric septal hypertrophy phenotypes with variable severities of repolarisation impairment were used to investigate the effects of acute myocardial ischaemia on ECGs with T wave inversions at baseline.

A synthesized 18-lead electrocardiograph is a specialized technology that mathematically computes the virtual electrocardiographic waveforms of the right chest leads (V3R, V4R, and V5R) and posterior leads (V7, V8, and V9) based on a standard 12-lead electrocardiograph input without additional lead placement or techniques. Synthesized 18-lead electrocardiography is a useful test for the identification of the culprit coronary arteries in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction of the right ventricular wall or the posterior/lateral left ventricular wall, which are often missed on standard 12-lead electrocardiography. However, few studies have examined the usefulness of this modality during exercise stress testing.

Objective: To assess the effectivess of Shenshu Guanxin recipe granules (, SGR) in improving exercise tolerance and the quality of life in patients with Stable Angina Pectoris (SAP).
Methods: A total of 189 patients were consecutively enrolled between December 2012 and December 2014. The included patients were randomly assigned to SGR and placebo groups.

Objective: To investigate the effects of mitochondrion-targeted cyanine fluorescent small molecule IR-61 on cardiac injury induced by exhaustive exercise in rats.
Methods: Thirty-six adult male SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups(=12),control group (Ctrl), exhaustive exercise group (EE) and IR-61+ exhaustive exercise group (IR-61+EE). IR-61+EE group were intraperitoneally injected with 2 mg/kg IR-61 at the same time on day 1, 4 and 7.

Background: Although exercise stress electrocardiography (ECG) is a popular tool for detecting coronary artery disease (CAD), the induced ST-depression without coronary artery stenosis (FST) remains a challenge for accurate diagnosis. Exercise-induced ST depression is related to poor prognosis even in non-obstructive disease; however, its determinants have not been fully defined. We sought to investigate whether ventriculo-vascular interactional indexes such as arterial stiffness index, exercise hemodynamic parameters and echocardiographic left ventricular (LV) functional parameters were related to FST.
