To address the problems of the labeling curved surfaces vegetable with long label, such as the label wrinkled and the easy detachment, a cam-elliptical gear combined labeling mechanism with an improved hypocycloid trajectory is proposed. Provide the process of the mechanism, and establish a kinematic model of the mechanism. In order to improve the motion performances of the cam-elliptical gear combined labeling mechanism and avoid labels damage, the NSGA-II algorithm is used to optimize the parameters of the mechanism, resulting in 80 sets of Pareto solutions.

Introduction: The three-arm approach is mainly selected, despite the multiple robotic arms in da Vinci Xi. This type of surgical setup may provide less autonomy to the console surgeon and result in greater dependence on the bedside surgical assistant. Therefore, the 4th arm is used instead of the assist port, which is why we developed "pure" robot simple hysterectomy (PRSH) as a novel surgical technique, in which all ports are operated by robotic arms.

Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flows have several applications in a wide area of engineering such as industrialized processes, including generating MHD electrical power, processing of magnetic materials, etc. The present examination focuses on incorporating the induced magnetic field (IMF) and multiple slips on the convective MHD Casson nanofluid flow over an elongating sheet with Brownian motion and thermophoresis effects. Heat source/sink, non-linear radiation, and suction/injection impacts are added to strengthen the study.

Bactogram: Spatial Analysis of Bacterial Colonisation in Epidermal Wounds.

Exp Dermatol

December 2024

Division of Dermatology and Venereology, Department of Clinical Sciences Lund, Lund University, Lund, Sweden.

Skin barrier damage and subsequent development of harmful microbiota contribute to conditions such as wound infections, atopic dermatitis and chronic wounds, which impact millions of people globally and pose a significant economic burden on healthcare systems. Established microbial sampling methods, such as swabs and tissue biopsies, provide limited information on the spatial distribution of bacteria. We here describe a new method that produces a visual map of the distribution of cultivable bacteria, denoted 'Bactogram', across the whole wound and surrounding skin, suitable for image-based quantification.

Background: Clinically relevant postoperative pancreatic fistula (CR-POPF) is a common postoperative complication after pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) and is associated with severe complications. Drainage is an effective method to treat POPF and prevent POPF-related complications. However, controversy still exists about whether different drainage methods reduce the incidence or the severity of POPF after PD.
