Background: HIV remains a major challenge in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, particularly for young women who face disproportionate risks and barriers to prevention and treatment. Most HIV cure trials, however, occur in high-income countries.
Objective: To examine the perspectives of young women diagnosed with acute HIV in a longitudinal study, focusing on their perceptions on ATI-inclusive HIV cure trials and the barriers and facilitators to participation.

Background: We aimed to assess impairments on health-related quality of life, and mental health resulting from Retinal artery occlusion (RAO) with monocular visual field loss and posterior circulation ischemic stroke (PCIS) with full or partial hemianopia using patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs).
Methods: In a prospective study, consecutive patients with acute RAO on fundoscopy and PCIS on imaging were recruited during their surveillance on a stroke unit over a period of 15 months. Baseline characteristics were determined from medical records and interviews.

This study investigates the effects of multidisciplinary telerehabilitation for the post-COVID-19 condition. : Recruitment was announced during 2021/22 through the COVID patient organisation in Sweden. The key inclusion criteria were persistent symptoms and functional impairments longer than 12 weeks after an acute SARS-CoV-2 infection, a stable health condition, and satisfactory skills to use the Internet.

: Despite considerable research on pregnancy outcomes affected by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection, the consequences for infants exposed to the virus in utero remain unclear. : A retrospective cohort study was conducted, encompassing 392 mother-infant pairs delivered between April 2020 and July 2021 at a community hospital network in northeastern Pennsylvania, USA. Of these, 198 mothers had a confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection during pregnancy, while 194 did not.
