Solitary myofibromas are relatively rare neoplasms but one of the most common fibrous neoplasms occurring in infancy and childhood. Adult cases have also been reported in the literature. We describe here a case report of an eighteen-month-old child who presented with a gradually enlarging nodule in the right breast. The case is presented for an insight into contemporary knowledge about its histogenetic origin, behaviour and prognosis.

Background: The identification of circulating potential biomarkers may help earlier diagnosis of breast cancer, which is critical for effective treatment and better disease outcomes. We aimed to study the role of circ-FAF1 as a diagnostic biomarker in female breast cancer using peripheral blood samples of these patients, and to investigate the relation between circ-FAF1 and different clinicopathological features of the included patients.
Methods And Results: This case-control study enrolled 60 female breast cancer patients and 60 age-matched healthy control subjects.

Pancreatic insufficiency is a major complication of cystic fibrosis (CF), which traditionally has been managed with pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy in the vast majority of CF patients, even in the era of highly effective cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator modulator (CFTRm) therapy. We report on a 1.7 year old male infant with CF who was exposed to ETI both in utero and postpartum, via breast milk and oral granules.

However, MTBs often face challenges such as case overload, which can compromise MTB decision quality. Clinical decision support systems (CDSSs) have been introduced to assist clinicians in this process.

Malignant adenomyoepithelioma of the breast is a rare and challenging tumor in terms of diagnosis and treatment. It is exceptional to find this condition in a patient who has had breast cancer treated with breast-conserving surgery and radiotherapy. We present the case of a 46-year-old female patient with a history of invasive lobular carcinoma of the breast, who presented one year later with a malignant adenomyoepithelioma in the same breast, which recurred three times, despite undergoing various surgical treatments and even adjuvant chemotherapy regimen.

Mucinous carcinoma of the breast, also known as colloid carcinoma, is an uncommon type of differentiated adenocarcinoma, representing only 2% of all invasive breast carcinomas. It usually occurs in women ≥ 60 years of age. Mucinous carcinoma is characterized by clusters of epithelial tumour cells suspended in pools of extracellular mucin and is further divided in 2 subgroups, pure and mixed.
