In both cases optic disc neuropathy with perimetry defects and loss of vision is caused by a cerebral tumour. The progression of optic damage was stopped by resection of the tumor in both patients. We recommend the performance of a radiological examination in patients with visual field defects if the intraocular pressure is normal and thus glaucoma may not be the cause of the defects.

Purpose: There is evidence that wearing multifocal glasses increases the risk of falls in older people, especially when walking on stairs and in unfamiliar settings. However, it is not clear whether all types of multifocal glasses are equally associated with falls. Endoscopic cyclophotocoagulation (ECP) offers a viable alternative for managing advanced primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) in patients at risk of ocular hypotony. We describe a case of a successful outcome with ECP in a patient who developed ocular hypotony secondary to Preserflo surgery. A 93-year-old South Asian male experienced significant visual field deterioration and ocular hypotony following Preserflo surgery on the left eye, complicated by a severe cough from COVID-19.

A juxtapapillary retinal capillary hemangioma (JRCH) is a rare vascular hamartoma located on the optic nerve head or adjacent region. While often associated with von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease, JRCHs can also occur as an isolated condition, presenting unique therapeutic challenges and risks of visual impairment. We report a case of a 50-year-old Malay gentleman with diabetes mellitus who presented with a non-progressive superior visual field defect in his left eye for three months.
