Introduction: The Danish Heart Registry (DHR) keeps track of all coronary angiographies (CATH), percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), and adult heart valve surgery performed in Denmark. DHR is a clinical database established in order to follow the activity and quality of the procedures mentioned.
Materials And Methods: Information concerning each procedure, age, gender, and co-morbidity of the patient was collected. Each patient was followed with respect to survival for 30 days by linkage to the central personal registry in Denmark. Mortality was estimated by the Kaplan-Meier method and comparisons of 30-day mortality between centres were carried out in Cox proportional hazard models.
Results: The mortality within 30 days after PCI was 3.2% and closely related to the indication for PCI: ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) 6.8%; non-STEMI & unstable angina pectoris 1.9% and stable angina pectoris 0.5%. The 30-day mortality after PCI on the indication STEMI did not differ between the five centres, P=0.30. Mortality within 30 days after isolated CABG was 2.6% and was closely related to the EuroSCORE. The 30-day mortality after isolated CABG did not differ between the five centres, P=0.12.
Conclusion: The 30-day mortality was closely related to the indication for PCI and the EuroSCORE for patients undergoing CABG. There were no significant differences in 30-day mortality between centres after either primary PCI or isolated CABG.

Purpose: To perform a systematic review and meta-analysis of the outcomes of Anaconda fenestrated endograft for the treatment of complex abdominal aortic aneurysms (cAAA).
Material And Methods: A systematic search of all the literature reported until May 2024 was performed according to the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines. The pooled 30-day mortality rate, technical success rate, reintervention rate as well as bridging stent occlusion rate, and corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were estimated using fixed or random effect methods.

species are major pathogens responsible for hospital-acquired infections. This study aimed to compare the clinical characteristics, outcomes, and antimicrobial resistance between (AB) and non- (NBA) species. In this retrospective cohort study, we analyzed data from adult patients (aged 18 or older) with bacteremia treated at two tertiary hospitals from July 2020 to November 2023.

Emerging evidence suggests the role of mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices in the therapy of refractory cardiogenic shock (CS). However, largerandomized trials addressing the role of Impella in the therapy of infarct-associated CS are sparse. As such, evidence coming from comprehensive retrospective studies or meta-analyses is of major importance in order to clarify the role of the Impella device in this setting.

: In the presence of porcelain aorta (PA), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) has become a class I therapeutic indication for the treatment of severe aortic valve stenosis. To date, few studies have analyzed the clinical outcomes of TAVR in PA patients. We aim to analyze the calcification patterns of the thoracic aorta in PA patients and to evaluate their clinical implications for TAVR procedures.

: Metabolic and bariatric surgery (MBS) is a well-established treatment for severe obesity, yet its effects in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) are not well understood. MBS in this population presents unique challenges, including the potential for exacerbating inflammatory disease activity and causing complications such as malnutrition and medication malabsorption. This study aims to assess the long-term outcomes of MBS in IBD patients, focusing on both metabolic outcomes and its impact on the course of IBD.
