This article reports a qualitative study designed to explore parents' views on how their child with additional needs had been cared for by hospital nursing staff, focusing on how well their own and their child's needs had been identified and met. Twelve interviews with parents of children with additional needs and a thematic analysis of the interview data was conducted. Four themes were developed to provide an insight into parents' views about their experiences: their prior experiences of hospital care, including the process of being told the original diagnosis; communication with staff; nurse-parent relationships; and perceptions of nurses and nursing care. It concludes that parents experience some difficulties in developing a trusting relationship with the nurses caring for their child with additional needs. Parents perceive that nurses are not always able to recognize and respond to their needs when caring for their child. Failure to address these needs can interfere with the development of effective nurse-parent relationships.

India's National COVID Vaccination Program recommended vaccination of children ages 6-12 years in April 2022. This study assessed vaccine acceptance among mothers to better understand potential barriers and facilitators of national acceptance of pediatric coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination. Qualitative data were collected through three focus group discussions (FGDs) with mothers who had children younger than 12 years of age; FGD-1 was composed of mothers who worked at a tertiary medical center in India, whereas FGD-2 and FGD-3 were composed of mothers who sought care at urban and rural community health centers.

Objective: Sleep disturbance (SD) is common after pediatric mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and may predict increased postconcussive symptoms (PCS) and prolonged recovery. Our objective was to investigate the relation of SD with PCS in children with mTBI and those with orthopedic injury (OI).

Introduction: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a common sleep-related breathing disorder among children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This study aims to determine the prevalence of OSA in children with ADHD, compare the differences in clinical characteristics between children with ADHD-OSA and those without OSA (ADHD-nonOSA), and to identify the correlation between OSA and ADHD in children.
Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 524 children with ADHD, aged 6-12 years, at the Vietnam National Children's Hospital from October 2022 to September 2023.
