This study examined the growth in e-mail, MSN, and chatroom uses longitudinally among 280 Taiwanese college students. Data were collected at five points in time over a two-and-half-year period. Little change in the mean level of e-mail use was observed, while MSN showed an inverse U-shaped development. The use of chatroom seemed to decrease slightly over time. Almost all autocorrelations for three mediums were statistically significant. As moderate to low correlations were found among e-mail, MSN, and chatroom uses, future research should explore which factors may affect the growth of these three mediums.

This paper investigates an integrated model-control scheme for large-scale spacecraft, focusing on orbit-attitude-vibration dynamics subject to strong time-varying coupling characteristics. The proposed scheme aims to achieve cooperative modeling and control for orbit maintenance, attitude stabilization and vibration suppression simultaneously. An integrated dynamic model is established using the Absolute Nodal Coordinate Formulation and Lagrangian mechanics, where time-varying coupling terms are preserved to enhance model integrity, contrasting with the reduction and decoupling methods commonly adopted in existing literature.

Aims: The standard Parkinson's disease (PD) treatment is L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (L-DOPA); however, its long-term use may cause L-DOPA-induced dyskinesia (LID). Aberrant activation of medium spiny neurons (MSNs) contributes to LID, and MSN excitability is regulated by dopamine D3 receptor (D3R) and ATP-sensitive potassium (K) channel activity. Nevertheless, it remains unclear if D3R and K channels may be linked in the context of LID.

Circulating tumor cells (CTC) are considered metastatic precursors that are shed from the primary or metastatic deposits and navigate the bloodstream before undergoing extravasation to establish distant metastases. Metabolic reprogramming appears to be a hallmark of metastatic progression, yet current methods for evaluating metabolic heterogeneity within organ-specific metastases in vivo are limited. To overcome this challenge, we present Biofluorescence Imaging-Guided Spatial Metabolic Tracing (BIGSMT), a novel approach integrating in vivo biofluorescence imaging, stable isotope tracing, stain-free laser capture microdissection, and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.
