Background: The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic precipitated a rapid shift to virtual care in health care settings, inclusive of mental health care. Understanding clients' perspectives on virtual mental health care quality will be critical to informing future policies and practices.
Objective: This study aimed to outline the process of redesigning and validating the Virtual Client Experience Survey (VCES), which can be used to evaluate client and family experiences of virtual care, specifically virtual mental health and addiction care.

Background: Age-related cognitive decline (ARCD) refers to the cognitive changes that occur in individuals because of aging. Research suggests that the underlying mechanism behind ARCD is a loss of synaptic plasticity and altered dendritic spine morphology. Similarly, the cognitive changes in Alzheimer's Disease (AD) are also thought to arise from impaired synaptic plasticity and dendritic spine loss.

Dynamic postural control during sitting is essential for functional mobility and daily activities. Extended reality (XR) presents a promising solution for posture training in addressing conventional training limitations related to patient accessibility and ecological validity. We developed a remote XR rehabilitation system with markerless motion tracking for sitting posture training.

Objective: Evidence of virtual reality's (VR) efficacy in hospital settings coupled with the rise of inexpensive consumer devices have led to the development of social virtual reality (SVR) applications being incorporated in hospital settings. SVR provides opportunities for social interactions in virtual environments, allowing individuals to virtually socialize, regardless of geographic or mobility constraints. However, the full range of potential applications and the challenges of deploying SVR in hospital settings remain unexplored.
