In this paper, the community types of broadleaved-Korean pine mixed forest in Northeast China were identified, and the groups of tree relationship were established based on TWINSPAN. The species diversities at 4 locations in Northeast China, i.e., Changbai Mountain, Datudingzi Mountian, Pingding Mountian and Fenglin Nature Reserve, were compared. The results showed that 264 species belonging to 147 genera in 64 families were recorded in 24 plots, and the 24 plots were identified into 7 community types and 3 groups. The 33 tree species were divided into 8 groups according to their relations. Herbaceous plants possessed the greatest species richness and diversity, followed by shrubs and trees. At the 4 locations, Changbai Mountain owned the highest average species richness of 63. The diversities of tree layer and shrub layer in Changbai Mountain and Datudingzi Mountain were higher than those in Pingding Mountain and Fenglin Nature Reserve. The diversity of herb layer in Fenglin Nature Reserve was 2. 83, being higher than that at other 3 locations. The shrub layer in Pingding Mountain and the herb layer in Changbai Mountain had the lowest evenness of 0.71 and 0.80.

Human gut Bacteroides and Parabacteroides species play crucial roles in human health and are known for their capacity to utilize diverse polysaccharides. Understanding how these bacteria utilize medicinal polysaccharides is foundational for developing polysaccharides-based prebiotics and drugs. Here, we systematically mapped the utilization profiles of 20 different medicinal polysaccharides by 28 human gut Bacteroides and Parabacteroides species.

The morbidity and mortality rates of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) are high and continue to increase. The antitumor effects of single therapies are limited because of tumor heterogeneity and drug resistance, and the lack of real-time monitoring of tumor progression during the treatment process leads to poor therapeutic outcomes. Therefore, novel nanodelivery platforms combining tumor therapy and diagnosis have garnered extensive attention.

Simultaneous Isolation and Preparation of Extracellular Vesicles by Circular Multicavity Electrophoresis.

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) play a crucial role in diagnosis and treatment, yet obtaining highly purified EVs from complex biological samples is often hindered by nanoscale contaminants. In this work, considering the charge-to-size characteristics of EVs, a circular multicavity electrophoresis (CME) with gradient pore size distribution was constructed in the gradient electric field to realize the isolation and preparation of EVs. By the gradient gel sieving effect, small cell debris, EVs, and proteins in biological samples were gradually separated.
