Inter-coronary communication is a rare congenital anomaly, defined as a connection between two patent coronary arteries, and was first described in 1972. We report the case of a 61-year-old Emirati female who presented to the emergency department with chest pain and palpitations, along with a strong family history of cardiac disease. She was initially diagnosed with indolent hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy and accordingly managed; however, the patient remained symptomatic.

Synergistic divergence, sometimes identified as type IV Duane syndrome, belongs to a group of congenital disorders characterized by aberrant extraocular muscle innervation. In synergistic divergence, there is paradoxical abduction of both eyes on attempted gaze to one side. There is no consensus on surgical management of this rare disorder.

Spondylo-thoracic dysplasia (STD) is a set of rare congenital abnormalities involving the vertebrae and thorax, leading to significant morbidity and mortality due to respiratory insufficiency and associated anomalies. Clinically, neonates present with scoliosis, vertebral segmentation defects, and severe respiratory compromise, resulting in early neonatal death. These children have a unique patho-anatomy of volume depletion deformity of the thorax, resulting in thoracic insufficiency.
