Background: Chorioamnionitis is recognized as a major consequence of preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM), and a frequent cause of neonatal morbidity and mortality. The association between fetal heart rate (FHR) and chorioamnionitis remains unclear.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the dynamics of FHR in a PPROM population at the approach of delivery according to the presence or absence of chorioamnionitis.

Background: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of caffeine on fetal heart rate (FHR) as determined by computerized cardiotocography (cCTG) parameters.
Methods: Term pregnancies that performed a fetal antepartum cCTG were included. Two physicians recorded coffee habits before the cCTG, and pregnant women were divided into two groups: the coffee group and the control group.

Fetal heart rate monitoring is a crucial element in determining the health of the fetus during pregnancy. In this paper, we evaluate the fetal heart rate (FHR) and maternal heart rate (MHR) between our non-invasive fetal monitoring system, Femom, developed by a Biorithm and the Huntleigh computerized cardiotocography (cCTG) together with the Sonicaid FetalCare3 software by comparing the accuracy, sensitivity, and reliability through using Bland-Altman analysis, Positive Percent Agreement (PPA) and Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) respectively. Femom device is a part of the Femom system which collects abdominal electrocardiogram (aECG) signals.

Cardiotocography (CTG) constitutes a major and generally used tool for the assessment of fetal well-being. Subjectivity is the main difficulty in the interpretation of CTG. Inter- and intra-observer variability are substantival features of the interpretation of CTGs.

The measurement and analysis of fetal heart rate (FHR) and uterine contraction (UC) patterns, known as cardiotocography (CTG), is a key technology for detecting fetal compromise during labour. This technology is commonly used by clinicians to make decisions on the mode of delivery to minimise adverse outcomes. A range of computerised CTG analysis techniques have been proposed to overcome the limitations of manual clinician interpretation.
