Context: Errors entering orders for send-out laboratory tests into computer systems waste health care resources and can delay patient evaluation and management.
Objectives: To determine (1) the accuracy of send-out test order entry under "real world" conditions and (2) whether any of several practices are associated with improved order accuracy.
Design: Representatives from 97 clinical laboratories provided information about the processes they use to send tests to reference facilities and their order entry and specimen routing error rates.
Results: In aggregate, 98% of send-out tests were correctly ordered and 99.4% of send-out tests were routed to the proper reference laboratory. There was wide variation among laboratories in the rate of send-out test order entry errors. In the bottom fourth of laboratories, more than 5% of send-out tests were ordered incorrectly, while in the top fourth of laboratories fewer than 0.3% of tests were ordered incorrectly. Order entry errors were less frequent when a miscellaneous test code was used than when a specific test code was used (3.9% vs 5.6%; P = .003).
Conclusions: Computer order entry errors for send-out tests occur approximately twice as frequently as order entry errors for other types of tests. Filing more specific test codes in a referring institution's information system is unlikely to reduce order entry errors and may make error rates worse.

The development of antivirals for respiratory viruses has advanced markedly in response to the growing threat of pathogens such as Influenzavirus (IAV), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and SARS-CoV-2. This article reviews the advances and challenges in this field, highlighting therapeutic strategies that target critical stages of the viral replication cycle, including inhibitors of viral entry, replication, and assembly. In addition, innovative approaches such as inhibiting host cellular proteins to reduce viral resistance and repurposing existing drugs are explored, using advanced bioinformatics tools that optimize the identification of antiviral candidates.

In order to solve the problems of serious deformation and difficult support of roadway surrounding rock in the process of gob-side entry driving, taking 230,708 working face of Huopu Mine as the engineering background, the migration characteristics of overburden rock and the stress distribution of surrounding rock before and after roof cutting in the process of gob-side entry driving were studied by means of theoretical analysis, similar simulation test and field measurement. The results show that: ① the establishment of lateral suspension mechanical model analysis found that, with the increase of coal seam dip angle, the reduction of the coal pillar bearing capacity before and after cutting the top gradually decreases, the dip angle of coal seam is 30°, Compared with the reduction of coal pillar bearing capacity before roof cutting is 2164 KN; with the increase of the overburden rock caving angle, the reduction of the coal pillar bearing capacity before and after cutting the top increases continuously, the caving angle of overburden rock is 63°, Compared with the reduction of coal pillar bearing capacity before roof cutting is 2218 KN. ② After the implementation of roof cutting and cutting off the overhanging roof structure, the stress of the surrounding rock of the coal pillar gang in the roadway has significantly decreased by 18.

Purpose: In 1996, a multicomponent alcohol prevention intervention was launched and later institutionalized in Stockholm. This study examines the long-term effects of the program on compliance with the legal minimum age limit for alcohol service at licensed premises.
Methods: The intervention comprised community mobilization and collaboration, training, and enforcement aimed at preventing alcohol service to underage (<18 years) or obviously intoxicated patrons.
