Surface features are measured by the analysis of the diffracted field intensity distribution generated by a scanning Gaussian beam. The measured data are shown to represent the amplitude of the Gabor expansion coefficients of the complex function embossed by the surface onto the reflected wave front. The surface is reconstructed by use of a custom-designed algorithm based on generalized projections, with a resolution exceeding the classical diffraction limit.

Purpose: Trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (Trop2) is overexpressed in various solid tumors and contributes to tumor progression, while its expression remains low in normal tissues. Trop2-targeting antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), sacituzumab govitecan-hziy (Trodelvy), has shown efficacy in targeting this antigen. Leveraging the enhanced specificity of ADCs, we conducted the first immunoPET imaging study of Trop2 expression in gastric cancer (GC) and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) models using Zr-labeled Trodelvy ([Zr]Zr-DFO-Trodelvy).

Cardiac Positron Emission Tomography (PET) can be used for the assessment of myocardial perfusion. Compared to other cardiac imaging techniques, notably Single Photon Emission Computer Tomography (SPECT), cardiac PET offers superior image resolution, higher accuracy, quantitative measures of myocardial perfusion, lower radiation exposure, and shorter image acquisition time. However, PET tends to be costlier and less widely available than SPECT due to the specialized equipment needed for generating the necessary radiotracers.

Coronary artery disease (CAD) remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, necessitating advancements in diagnostic techniques. Coronary CT angiography (CCTA) has emerged as a pivotal non-invasive tool for evaluating coronary artery anatomy and detecting atherosclerotic plaque burden with high spatial resolution. This review explores the evolution of CCTA, highlighting its technological advancements, clinical applications, and challenges.

Understanding the spatiotemporal organization of components within living systems requires the highest resolution possible. Microscopy approaches that allow for a resolution below 250 nm include electron and super-resolution microscopy (SRM). The latter combines advanced imaging techniques and the optimization of image processing methods.

We report a green approach to prepare carbon dots (CDs) with fresh tomatoes as carbon sources and amino acids as dopants (ACDs) by a microwave assisted method. The synthesised CDs were analysed by UV-visible absorption spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy, high resolution transmission electron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photo electron spectroscopy. An MTT assay was used to evaluate the cytotoxicity of CDs toward L929 cells and found that CDs exhibit low cytotoxicity.
