Digital in-line soft x-ray holography (DIXH) was used to image immobilized polystyrene and iron oxide particles and to distinguish them based on their different x-ray absorption cross sections in the vicinity of the carbon K-absorption edge. The element-specific information from the resonant DIXH images was correlated with high-resolution scanning electron microscopy (SEM) pictures. We also present DIXH images of a cell nucleus and compare the contrast obtained for nuclear components with the appearance in optical microscopy.

Individuals with "agrammatic" receptive aphasia have long been known to rely on semantic plausibility rather than syntactic cues when interpreting sentences. In contrast to early interpretations of this pattern as indicative of a deficit in syntactic knowledge, a recent proposal views agrammatic comprehension as a case of "noisy-channel" language processing with an increased expectation of noise in the input relative to healthy adults. Here, we investigate the nature of the noise model in aphasia and whether it is adapted to the statistics of the environment.

Objectives: To update the 2017 European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR) recommendations for treatment of systemic sclerosis (SSc), incorporating new evidence and therapies.
Methods: An international task force was convened in line with EULAR standard operating procedures. A nominal group technique exercise was performed in two rounds to define questions underpinning a subsequent systematic literature review.

Conventional personal health record (PHR) management systems are centralized, making them vulnerable to privacy breaches and single points of failure. Despite progress in standardizing healthcare data with the FHIR format, hospitals often lack efficient platforms for transferring PHRs, leading to redundant tests and delayed treatments. To address these challenges, we propose a decentralized PHR management system leveraging Personal Data Stores (PDS) and Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) in line with the Web 3.

The selection of an optimal referencing method in event-related potential (ERP) research has been a long-standing debate, as it can significantly influence results and lead to data misinterpretation. Such misinterpretation can produce flawed scientific conclusions, like the inaccurate localization of neural processes, and in practical applications, such as using ERPs as biomarkers in medicine, it may result in incorrect diagnoses or ineffective treatments. In line with the development and advancement of good scientific practice (GSP) in ERP research, this study sought to address several questions regarding the most suitable digital reference for investigating the N400 ERP component.

Research Question: The goal of this study was to assess the diagnostic accuracy of spinal time-resolved contrast-enhanced MR angiography (4D-MRA) for the detection and localization of spinal dural arteriovenous fistulas (SDAVF) in our institution.
Material And Methods: Single center retrospective cohort study of patients with the clinical suspicion of a SDAVF. Patients were included who had undergone spinal 4D-MRA in the period January 2010-February 2021.
