In this paper, by considering the experts' fuzzy understanding of the nature of the parameters in the problem-formulation process, multiobjective nonconvex nonlinear programming problems with fuzzy numbers are formulated and an interactive fuzzy satisficing method through coevolutionary genetic algorithms is presented. Using the alpha-level sets of fuzzy numbers, the corresponding nonfuzzy alpha-programming problem is introduced. After determining the fuzzy goals of the decision maker, if the decision maker specifies the degree alpha and the reference membership values, the corresponding extended Pareto optimal solution can be obtained by solving the augmented minimax problems for which the coevolutionary genetic algorithm, called GENOCOP III, is applicable. In order to overcome the drawbacks of GENOCOP III, the revised GENOCOP III is proposed by introducing a method for generating an initial feasible point and a bisection method for generating a new feasible point efficiently. Then an interactive fuzzy satisficing method for deriving a satisficing solution for the decision maker efficiently from an extended Pareto optimal solution set is presented together with an illustrative numerical example.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the readiness of European inland transport companies for the European Green Deal by analyzing the causal relationships between key factors essential for EGD implementation. The research identifies six critical factors: Investment in Green Technologies, Policy Alignment and Compliance, Stakeholder Collaboration, Resource Management, Employee Training and Engagement, and Emission Reduction Initiatives. This research offers the first integrated evaluation of EGD readiness utilizing a combination of fuzzy-DEMATEL, multiple regression analysis, and Structural Equation Modeling aimed at uncovering systemic interactions among the factors in the system.

Several human disorders, including Alzheimer's disease (AD), are characterized by the aberrant formation of amyloid fibrils. In many cases, the amyloid core is flanked by disordered regions, known as fuzzy coat. The structural properties of fuzzy coats, and their interactions with their environments, however, have not been fully described to date.

Background: Dyslipidaemia is among the major causes of severe diseases and, despite being well-established, the hypocholesterolaemic therapies still face significant concerns about potential side effects (such as myopathy, myalgia, liver injury digestive problems, or mental fuzziness in some people taking statins), interaction with other drugs or specific foods. Accordingly, this review describes the latest developments in the most effective therapies to control and regulate dyslipidaemia.
Scope And Approach: Herein, the metabolic dynamics of cholesterol and their integration with the current therapies: statins, bile acid sequestrants, fibrates, niacin, proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) inhibitors, reconstituted high-density lipoprotein (rHDL), or anti-inflammatory and immune-modulating therapies), were compared focusing their effectiveness, patients' adhesion and typical side-effects.

Accurately predicting carbon prices is crucial for effective government decision-making and maintenance the stable operation of carbon markets. However, the instability and nonlinearity of carbon prices, driven by the complex interaction between economic, environmental, and political factors, often result in inaccurate predictions. To confront this challenge, this paper proposed a carbon price prediction model that integrates dual decomposition integration and error correction.
